What we collect
ViralHits collects only what’s needed to provide the product:
- Account info — email, name, and password hash (if you signed up with email). For OAuth sign-ins we store the provider ID and the email the provider returns.
- Brand + analysis data — the URLs you paste, the brands you create, the social accounts you connect, the notes you type, and the analyses, remixes, and campaigns you generate.
- Billing metadata — if you subscribe, Stripe processes your card and returns a customer ID and subscription status to us. We never see or store card numbers.
- Basic diagnostics — request logs, error traces, and aggregated usage counts to keep the service reliable. We do not sell or share these.
What we don’t do
- We don’t sell your data. Ever.
- We don’t use your private brand docs, advisor conversations, or remix scripts to train any third-party AI.
- We don’t post to your connected TikTok or Instagram accounts — we only read public profile data via third-party scraping APIs.
Third-party processors
We use a small set of sub-processors to run the service. Each handles only the data required for its role:
- Supabase — database, auth, and file storage.
- Vercel — hosting and compute.
- Stripe — payment processing.
- Google (Gemini)— generative analysis of public video content you submit. Google’s paid API tier does not use input for training.
- Apify — scraping public TikTok / Instagram data.
Your rights
You can export every analysis you’ve run, edit or delete any brand, and delete your account entirely. Account deletion removes all personal data from the primary database within 30 days; logged diagnostics may persist in backups for up to 90 days before rotating out.
If you’re in the EU / UK and want to exercise GDPR rights (access, rectification, erasure, portability), email privacy@viralhits.appand we’ll respond within 30 days.
Cookies
We use one session cookie so you stay logged in, plus short-lived CSRF tokens. We do not run advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
Children
ViralHits is not intended for anyone under 16. If you believe a minor has registered, email us and we’ll remove the account.
